Our First Thaw! - Week six

So I actually got to take a walk by myself!
It was Fantastic!
It was a beautiful afternoon, and a whopping 40 degrees out!
I actually was only wearing a hoody, instead of my big jacket.

I like to take pictures and try to do it from
different vantage points, I love the sun here
peeking through the trees.

Thank you's - week five

Hand made thank you cards!

The reason for the thank you cards is......

that I had a baby in December, and many people have
been very generous in giving me things for her,
so in return I am sending thank you cards.
Making them was the fantastic part for me. I love
to be creative with the things that I have,
and make beautiful things.
The paper is scrapbook paper hand me downs from
my mom and sister who are CRAZY Scrappin Ladies,
I am an amateur compared to them, so they give
me supplies that they have not used.

Shopping! - Week four

Boots and jeans, what more could a girl want?

So you know those girls with the skinny legs that are able to
wear really cute tall boots, all winter? I am not one of them,
I do love the look of them though. So I try them on,
and they never fit, because I have really muscular calves,
and have had them for my whole life, but I continue
to dream. Then I found these, and I love them, and they fit,
because they are short! So Finally I have a cute pair of
boots, I have been wanting a pair with this kind of toe,
for a loooooong time. And as my mother says, I had to
buy them to keep the horders from getting them, because
they were a great deal, originally $70 but paid $20.

Valentine Cookies - Week two

Happy Valentine's Day!

These are the best sugar cookies ever!
They seriously melt in your mouth!
My plan was to decorate them fancy like,
but with three kids and a husband who
like them as much as me, they disappeared
rather quickly, but I did have a
Fantastic time making them.
